Creation morning.

Did you ever think about what the first morning after God created the world would have been like? The beauty of the sky with the sun coming up for the first time would have been unbelievable. The trees would have no doubt been in all the leafed out beauty standing perfectly straight. The grass would have all been the dark green , picture perfect image that you only dream about. It's hard to imagine all of that as far as you could see. This morning sunrise was one of the best. Clouds full of sprinkles were overhead just waiting to fall but in the east, the sun in all of it's power, was breaking through with the first light. It reached up to the clouds with rays of hope and beauty as if to say "We work together to make things happen, so lets get started." Enjoy the day.

Now let me think

Was it just a few months ago that Congress pull a bunch of credit card issuers in and said that they were robbing people of money by charging excess fees and interest? Now most of them get money from lending places (like banks) to stay in business. Congress told us what a bunch of low life people they were.( I love it when the camera is on, we get grand acting). Now we are giving money to CitiBank in buckets and more on the way. Let see, Sears uses Citi finance at 17% with huge late fees and interest hikes if you are late. I bought a car financed for 2 years with Citi. Paid it off before the first payment in full. got a bill next month that I still owed $329. Had to pay that off also as a car is not like a credit card where you pay by the due date. So my tax money going to Citi to help them is kind of like asking for a spanking when you are 3 years old. When will we take the government back and run it like a country?

Say What?

In an opinion poll BO's approval rating is 62%. That's impressive considering all the people that are unhappy with things. The same poll says 58% of the people say we are headed in the wrong direction as a country. Who in the H do these smart people thing is steering the ship? They all wanted to be part of electing the first black president, they all cry when some actor meets and untimely death, they just are so insecure in themselves that they have to be part of something bigger. Well this time you really did it. High energy taxes, higher property taxes, higher cost of living is on the way. If you call yourself a Christian and you voted for this guy that believes in baby killing you better check your cross at the door and pray that somehow you turn your life around. Your charitable deductions are going away, oh maybe you don't give anyhow. Have you noticed you see fewer and fewer Obama bumper stickers today? Might be in for a good old fashioned butt kicking for what you have done.

How times have changed

Remember the 70's and the 80's? We had what was called a farm crisis. I had friends and even family members that lost farms, yes their homes, because they could not pay pay the rent. I stood and watch the American farmer protest and ask the government for help only to watch the government turn it's back on it's citizens and say to bad. Now we here of all the poor people that bought more house then they can afford and it is a terrible crisis that has to be fixed. Gee wonder why banks were writing 125% loans on overinflated houses. There has even been bankers come forward now and tell of being forced by the Government to loan money to "undocumented" (Americans?) to buy a dream home. My how times have changed. Farmers"round up the tractors" it time to go back to Washington.

Bailout problem solved.. very simple

12000000 illegals approx in this country. Charge each one of them $1000. per year to be here and give them no benefits at all, not even gum. Next year do the same thing. Guess how fast it's paid off and how popular the politician is that promotes this is. I bet you won't even have problems finding people that will go out and find the illegals. Will it get done? No, it's to easy

Everyday is doom and gloom

Is it just me or is this the first President that has to be on tv everyday telling us how hopeless it is? I'm tired of all the gloom on tv. I can make it just fine without BO. BO has always been a negative but now it speaks. This could be a long 4 years. They asked his press sec. when we would hear something positive and he said the end of todays speech would be positive and hopeful. Well here goes the market down again.

Steps to solving the probelms now

1. Admit that you have a problem and that you have been lax in solving it
2. Wake up every morning and thank the "only" God that he made you and give you the sense to live a valuable life serving others.
3. Don't wait for opportunity to come to you go make it, This is America.
4. Tell a politician that they work for the majority of the people not the minority. If they don't
get it, start finding someone to take their place.
5. Thank your employer for the opportunity that they have given you, if you don't feel proud of
what you do, get a new job or start a new company. If you know more about how to run the
company it should be no problem. In other words,"Be humble".
6. Go home and tell your family that you love them and spend family time listening to each
other.
7. Work on a budget. You know what you have now live on it and not on credit.
8. Think of a family or someone that has less then you and pray for them and ask God to bless
them the way he has you.
9. Plan for tomorrow today. You can't know where you are going without a map.
10.Thank God for blessing you and pray for our country. If we ever needed to be praying it is
now. Stick to your values and beliefs and remember you should never have to ask if
someone is a Christian and if you do .....well start praying that they find God. He comes
before politics and party beliefs.

Will anyone read this, maybe. Will anyone try this I hope so, pray for me that is the best gift you can give.

The whole world is a nut job

Well the County Assessor just left. I built a small storage, now mind you, I live on a mini farm, and they are now taxing any small portable buildings that are built. This has never been done because on farms you raise chickens and such and they need brooder houses all the time. She also asked me if I had gotten a permit to build it which has never been needed in the past. Up go my taxes for making improvements because I also resided a tin shed with nice new siding. I bought a run down place with a house that should have been torn down but I fixed the eyesore and they tripled my taxes the first 3 years. Now they wonder why people and businesses leave Nebraska. Gee is it because we are taxed to death? I would trust a lawyer or a used car salesman before I would trust any elected official again. They only time you hear from them is when they want a vote or money. I have been told how lucky I am for having such a nice place. I paid for and done all the repairs with no government help at all. Why should they benefit from my money and hard work? Got to run now, I've got a headache and I need to go buy tea and ammo.

What did he say?

Only government can fix this? Government has no money and government has nothing to make money. THEY DO NOT GENERATE THEY ONLY DEPLETE. Ok, I get it. everyone wanted something for nothing as was promised but life don't work that way. How could you be so stupid as to fall for the trap.
Elkhart Indiana is not the norm. They produce RVs. A luxury item. People stopped buying them when gas hit $4.00 a gallon and they were overextended on credit. They wanted food and clothing more then an RV. Now the people of Elkhart can't figure it out that their industry is stalled. Well hello real world.
Looks to me like we are moving to a socialist state. Wake up, this is America. We are a land of inventors and smart people, not people that want to be told that the government has no faith in them. This is not just an American problem but a world problem. Take a hand up, not a hand out. Remember if you don't work you don't eat.

Fox news headlines"Gun sales soar"

Well you wanted "change" now you are maybe going to get. Reading the comments is funny in a way. The second amendment is solid, they say. Who is going to protect your rights? Are you counting on the spineless Republicans that won't even defend themselves until they get voted out of office? Dig deep on this one but think about it "You had the right to carry a gun at one time and then they took it from you." Now for a fee (which goes to the government) and schooling (also a fee involved) you can get a license to carry a gun, if you are good , and jump through a hoop. My feeling is that most people want a gun for protection. It is discrimination to a poor person that can't afford the fees. Thanks to the guys and gals on the hill your second amendment right was altered several years ago. Well I'm off to invest in a pitbull farm, I need protection.

Global warming, my frosted behind

Well even the Republican governors are on the bandwagon of saving the earth from the nasty humans. Found out now that a rancher that grazes cattle can sell carbon credits for someone else to buy. The rancher just sets back grazing cattle and not tilling the soil and gets paid for it because he is not running a tractor. Guess where the money comes from. What is going on with the world? We are all freezing and yet Al Gore says its hot and we believe him. It's true there is one born every minute(a sucker), and a bunch of people have sure bought into this with NO science behind it. All that is moving this theory is MONEY. I bought some land a while back that was in the Fed funded CRP program.(This is the one that pays the farmer not to grow things). There was 2 years left on a 10 year contract and I tried to remove the land not to farm it, just to plant trees and make it part of our yard. I explained to them that I didn't want tax money for my yard but they insisted. I finally had to repay all the money that the previous owner had received ($900 an acre) so that I wouldn't have to take farm welfare money. I think the inmates are now in control. Think I'll go outside, it's a hot 4 degrees now. Snuggle up, it's going to be a bumpy ride.
